In Ponyboy’s world, there are two different kinds of people: the Socs, and the Greasers. The Socs are the rich kids, the twerps, and they get away with everything. They like to jump Greasers. For fun. The Greasers are the poor people, they live in the poor part of town. Quite obviously, they don’t like getting jumped by Socs. Ponyboy is a Greaser. He lives alone with his older brothers, Darry and Soda. They are all part of a greaser gang. One day, Ponyboy and his friend Johnny decide to run away, but the get jumped by Socs. Johnny ends up killing a Soc, and so their adventure begins…

You’ll love this book if you enjoy…. well, any kind of book. Except romance and sic-fi, then you’re sunk.
